I went to update the website today and found to my surprise that the devotion that the Lord gave on on 10/5/16 wasnt' out there. I posted it here but somehow missed updating the website and sending it out.
I need a volunteer secretary.

Am planning to get back to doing more video devotions again in the future. I know some of the followers would rather receive the video devotion than the text only.
Will try to start doing these again.

I just couldn't sleep had to type of this next devotion that so captivated me. I just sent out the prayer devotional yesterday so, I didn't want to remove it and send out another because many would not have read it yet.
For those of you following the blog, I haven't written in a long time. I plan to attempt to start keeping up.
Being Used By God
If there is anything in you that likes to be seen and heard, it will have to die, because Jesus must have all the glory in the body. It is not possible for you and God to dwell in the same body in fullness. As you come to an end of yourself, then is the beginning of an almightiness of God. A little thing may stop the flow of the spirit.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:7-12)
Before the Holy Ghost can have His way within you, you must be cleansed from your own evil appetites and there must be a body prepared for the Holy Ghost.
Can it be?
This is the divine plan which is the movement of the Spirit within us, which is the divine order of the Trinity, taking hold of our nature and transforming it into power and bringing it into a place where out of it flows rivers of living water; light, revelation, open door, intercession, making a way into all darkness; bring to God the things that are so manifestly declared that day by day we are the sons of God.
And this river flows without an effort. “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38) When the Holy Ghost takes hold of you, you will have no more worries, no more stressed thoughts that cause sleepless nights. God will do it.
God has everything He wants you to have, and if you have anything that He doesn’t want you to have, it is worthless. This is the great plan of God for you. It is the sole purpose of God, a greater purpose than you can conceive and it is God’s thought for you, He has no less plan for you than to make you a son of God with power according to the resurrection. “As He is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
God is able to do this for any one of us who will yield to Him. He can take our weakness and depravity and make us holy. It is He that created all things for Himself, He created us for Himself that we may be no longer of the outward but inward perfection with Him, who has created us in power and might and revelation, mighty in the earth. Hallelujah, clothed with power! (Colossians 1:16 & Revelation 4:11)
Philip said to Jesus: I would like you to show me the Father. Jesus’ answered: If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. (John 14:8-10) The time came when the people looked at Philip they had to see Jesus. The world doesn’t need to see us, they need to see Jesus. (Acts
“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10)
How lovely to be filled with such incarnation of God’s order that the power of the Spirit of the life of Jesus should flow through you and you should be a new creation of the Spirit under the mighty power of God.
“Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” (John 14:9)
Directly after the baptism of the Holy Ghost came, they were transformed till one day Peter and John spoke and “when they (the people) saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. “ (Acts 4:13)
Can they, the people say that about us?
Have we been with Jesus?
It is one thing to read the Word of God and another thing to believe it. It is possible to be real and earnest and have zeal and fasting and yet not have faith. One little bit of faith which can only come through the Word of God is worth more than all your crying, all your rolling on the floor, all your screaming and everything; but beloved, God is better than anything.
May the Holy Ghost give us an inward knowledge of what it is to believe. It is God’s purpose to make every believer to subdue everything and to make you perfect and entire and overcoming.
I pray that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, that we may make it manifest, as we ought to speak. Amen.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Ask and he says ok.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Ask, believe; then receive.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
When you ask, believe you receive and you will.
John 14:12-14 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Ask & believe = Receive
Acts 9:40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
He asked = He received.
James 5:14-16 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Effectual fervent prayer = avails much
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Believe and don’t doubt.
Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan. ~ John Bunyan
The fewer the words the better prayer. ~ Martin Luther
Prayer is not monologue, but dialogue. Gods voice in response to mine is its most essential part. ~ Andrew Murray
Prayer – secret, fervent, believing prayer – lies at the root of all personal godliness. ~ Williams Carey
Prayer is an effort of will. ~ Oswald Chambers
If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles H. Spurgeon
Help us oh Lord to give up our will and our stinking thinking, help us oh Lord to ask and believe in our hearts without doubting. Thank you for your truth. Amen.

This weeks devotional was are real blessing to me.
I'm working on this coming weeks devotional and the Holy Spirit is just pouring into me how we have to let Him lead us or we will never be content or have peace. This is an area I have struggled with for all of my life; doing better sometimes more than others.
There is a message on the website that deals with the very subject.

Our instruction, discipline and correction as parents, must specifically direct our child(ren) toward an application (use, function, purpose) of God's Word. The attitudes and responses that we seek to develop in our child(ren) must follow expectations found in God's Word.
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2 NKJV
Our children will naturally be attracted toward the desires of the flesh we have to help teach them to deny their flesh and live as Christ did. The consequences could are eternal.
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child;... Proverbs 22:15 NKJV
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8 NKJV
How do we raise these children in an ungodly world?
Seek His (God) will in all we do and He (God) will direct our paths. Proverbs 3:6 NLT

"I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they maybe one, as we are - I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will know that you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me.” (John 17:22-23)
“The truth is you can go directly to the Father and ask Him, and He will grant your request because you use my name.” (John 16:23)
All being perfected into one. WOW.

Recently the Holy Spirit has brought to my attention that many of us are too critical of our fellow man and fellow Christians. Jesus himself said about the woman found in adultery "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." (John 8:7 KJV)
The Holy Spirit brought to my attention James 4:11” Don’t speak evil against each other, my dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize each other and condemn each other then you are criticizing and condemning God’s law. But you are not a judge who can decide whether the law is right or wrong. Your job is to obey it.” (NLT)
WOW, this scripture really got me thinking. I’ve always have tucked into my heart not to judge but look at this scripture a little more. “If you criticize each other … you are criticizing Jesus.” In John chapter one God’s word teaches us that the word [Jesus] became flesh and dwelled amount us. God’s law is words, His words and His words are Jesus. So, if we criticize and condemn we are criticizing and condemning Jesus.
Jesus is the judge and not me and not you. Thank God I am not asked to judge because like in John 8:7 I cannot cast the first stone.
My prayer is Psalms 19:14 May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers– most of which are never even seen – don’t you think he’ll attend to you, dohis best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, tonot be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but youknow both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative,God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all youreveryday human concerns will be met. Matthews 6:33 MSG
God woke me up this morning but the version I learned was“Seek ye first the kingdom of God” this scripture play over and over andover again. So I figured God must want me to study this scripture. The King James version did absolutely nothing for me. So I starteddigging the Message version spoke to me and then I had a great desire to lookup the real definition to some of the words. I use the Noah Webster’sDictionary of 1828 (wonderful version before so much pop culture and removal ofmorality).
Online dictionary: Immerse, drench, submerge, saturate, marinade, stand.
Noah Webster 1828
To soak in a liquid; to macerate;to imbue; to keep anything in a liquid till it has thoroughly imbided it, ortill the liquor has extracted the essential qualities of the substance. Thus cloth is steeped in lye or other liquid in bleaching or dyeing. Butplants and drugs are steeped in water, wine and the like, for the purpose oftincturing the liquid with their qualities.
Macerate: to make lean; to wear away. To steep almost to solution; tosoften and separate the parts of a substance by steeping it in a fluid, or bythe digestive process. So we say, food is macerated in the stomach.
Imbue – to drench
Tincturing – impregnating with a foreign substance.
Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative andGod-provisions; thoroughly submerge- saturate yourself with God-initiative,God-reality and God-provision and when self has been worn away – your personwill have God-like qualities. Not just God-like but that when you steepsomething because of the marinating & saturation process what went in comesout different because it is now a part of you. Your life, like food isdigested in the body; the body extracts the essentials it need to survive, toperform work, to stand. To stand on solid ground.
What ground are you standing on?
